Antioch Township is a general law township of Wexford County, established in 1872. The township spans roughly 36 square miles, with most of it being a federally funded national forest. Antioch Township is home to Briar Hill, the highest point in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan at 1,706 feet above sea level. Other communities within Antioch Township include a portion of the Village of Mesick and Sherman.
