Antioch Township board meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month, unless otherwise stated due to holidays, at 7:00 PM in the township offices.
Elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of the month, and are held every even year. Presidential Primaries are in February. State Primaries are in August. General Elections are in November. All other additional elections, such as school millage, for example, may be held in May.
Property owners will receive their assessments every year at the beginning of March. The assessments are not a bill, but show the owner the change in taxable value, state equalized value, and assessed value. At the bottom of the assessment, you will find information on how and when to challenge the assessment. For more information on assessments, please contact the assessor.
Summer taxes are issued at the end of June and are due in September. Winter taxes are issued at the beginning of December and are due in February. You may call the Township Treasurer to schedule an appointment to pay taxes and arrive on the date available shown on your tax slip.
Antioch Township offers a Fall Clean-up! Information is mailed out to residents a month before the date is set.
The Township is in the process of developing a Blight Ordinance.
